How do you guys distinguish a ricer from a non-ricer?

My definition of a ricer is one of those stupid *** kids that adds a wing, body kit, exhaust, and they automatically thing that their car is the fastest thing this side of the moon. Now, I can see if you are actually doing progressive mods to make your car faster. I think ricers just have that "attitude" that they think there buzzing tin can is the shit. I don't have a problem with people modding their vehicles, adding body kids, adding a simple exhaust, but I do have a problem with the wing... For me, its the attitude that makes the ricer...

I Have my own little definition of rice....I try to stay away from some exterior definitions, but massive aluminum wings, canards, body kits, add-on hoodscoops are rice....and any motor mod that does not add power, other than cosmetic dress up, is rice. I.E. $20 fart cannons from Pep-Boys/Autozone. I'm an "import guy" I guess but these morons with dozens of stickers, ridiculous paintjobs, and oversized body kits just tarnish the image of the talented and hardworking kids that actually tune and race their imports. just my .02
