I've searched the forums and have had no matches so here goes. I'm rewiring my system with 1/0 gauge and I have a question or 2. I put a lot of stuff in my cart at the knu koncepts site.....1/0 power and ground wires, 4 ga wire coming off power and ground disto blocks( which I also added in the kart) rcas, speaker wires, etc. After studying that for 2 hours I took a peek at their 0 ga amp kit. It doesnt have a ground dist block but instead, has a 2 foot 0 ga wire to run from the battery to the chasis. Therefore you would have to ground the amp wires to the chasis instead of a dist block. Which would be better? I know that by the time I run all my wiring, I would have laid down all of my sound deading material, so running a ground dist block would be easier. Which leads me to my next question. What is the longest I can run my 0 ga ground, from the body to the dist block? What's the longest I can run my 4ga from the dist block to the amps? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
