A long, long time ago. It is an old term.Since when did "porch monkey" suddenly become a racial slur?
And I can chuck a spear but when you say spearchucker it is a derogatory term for a black person. My grandma always used to call us porch monkeys... b/c we liked to sit on the porch...

Very well said.I see it like this, what offends one, may not offend others. The "N" word dose hold alot of bad history behind it, and it is American History at that. Now, because of this History, we have to watch were and when that word is used. A bit of a advice here, if your going to use that word in or out of its content, its going to be like the drinking laws, BE 21 WHEN YOU SAY IT, AND BE 21 WHEN YOU WERE THAT *** WHOOPIN THATS COMMING BEHIND IT!!!

Because some people refuse to let it go. They hold on to this belief that they were somehow personally disserviced by being raised in the USA. So sad that most of those people are driving Infinitis and still want to have an attitude....i think i understand this even less than most of yall. pretty much everyone that i went to school with that was not well off used the n word. didnt matter what race they were. it was just a term that all the "urban" kids used. and on top of that racism was just a big joke to all of us. we got made fun of for bein hispanic and we all made fun of the black kids for being black. why cant it be like that everywhere. ITS NOT A BIG DEAL ANYMORE> GET OVER IT EVERYONE.
