No one fled the scene except for the car that ran him off of the road. That story is not accurate at all. The person I talked to said that body parts were scattered all over the road. He knew he was dead. One rider got one the back of the other bike and they went to the hospital for his broken arm. The other rider stayed there, along with the people who hit him. After that story was written, the other 2 riders have since came forth to give more detail to the story. As was previously stated, don't depend on the Baltimore Sun to give a true depiction of events. The story about everyone jumping on their bikes and going for help doesn't make a lick of sense. If that's the case, why didn't they go back to the scene? Why did they need to leave if it was on a freeway, there's TONS of people who stop at those kind of scenes and nearly everyone has a cell phone these days...
I don't know what happened, all I know is the story they're feeding you doesn't make sense.
Having worked quite a number of auto and motorcycle accidents, I know people like to make **** up, on both sides of the issue.
