[QUOTE="BEN!!!, post: 1598715, member: 567052"] well im fairly new here (as you can see from my post count) and i didnt know exactly where to put this thread but this looks like a good place. now for the problem: ive got an NTX-2006 DHD Power Cruiser 400w amp that i bought off a friend of mine for 10 bucks. the input jacks were broken off, so i soldered some new ones one and i hooked it up to my powerhouse car (94 ford aspire). It worked beautifully, untill i started going down the road (about 2 miles), when it made a poping sound and completeley shut off. I checked all the wiring to the sterio/amp and everything seemed to be fine, so i took the amp out and hooked it to a car battery that i have in the garage. When i put power to the amp it powers itself on (the led turns on and makes a shight poping sound which i cant pinpoint) for about a half a second and turns back off. the led will remain off untill i disconnect one of the power wires and hook it back up again. anyone have any clue about what this could be? ive been screwing around with it for about 5 hours now and im stumped.
