I want to be able to drive the sub to its max with clean unclipped power.&nbsp; I want to get a used kicker zx/kx 1000/1200.1 to drive a type r but could probably cheaper/easier get a alpine 1000 watt rms amp. I also read about some of the cheaper budget brands being higher watts/equal rms power for the money. I will borrow an oscilliscope and make sure the power is not clipping this time around.
