Hey all Im new to the forums I must say I realy enjoy alot of the post and they have helped me trehemendously in assembleing the the start of what I hope to be able to call worthy of being a kick *** system, after reading lotsa reviews and based of the type of music I listn to IE Power metal freek,, I purchased this equipment so far , ill list what I have and whats next on the build with a few questions too boot,
Rig--2000 expidition
Deck-- Alpine 9885
Ipod /custom docking system, there ist 1 cd in my rig these days
Front doors- Alpine Type R 5x7 amp Powered
Rear Doors- Alpine Type S 5x7 deck
Subs-- 2 Kicker comps 10" Ported Box amp powered
Amp-Alpine PDX 2.150 Powering the front type R,s only and they frikn RAGE with that amp powering them, amazed at clarity.
Sub amp--Kicker ZX300.1 AB Sub amp, seems to be plenty of power doesnt clip.
Over all I am happy with the build so far, there are a few more things I am going with for it and need a lil feedback, Type R doors are going to the rears same power PDX amp, tossin the type s,s
Morell componets up front another PDX amp to power them
Rear Subs custom box 3 type R,s ( not X,s herd the rs are more accurate for metal music), 10" fireing downward , "not sure on power for them as of yet,1000.1?? shld I stay with Alp or crossbreed ??Alpine is rather midranged to spendy but so far this shit sounds beautifule to my metal ears lolz, so any feedback or sugestions would be a great help, thnx in advance ))....
