I just spent the past 3-4 hours cleaning/degreasing my trunk and laying down some SSA damplifier.

I was only able to cover part of my trunk lid and a little bit of my trunk. About 4-5 sheets worth.

How long does it take you guys to put this stuff down and make it look good?

i dont think you can be too slow with deadening really.

I always take my time deadening to make sure i dont have any bubbles or anything. When i deaded my whole truck, it took me multiple days.

I did my two front doors yesterday. Took me about 4 hours to cover it. I think Im going to have to go back in and add some more. I didnt exactly cover the whole thing. Some bits were too awkward to reach on the inner panel.

I hate sound deadening for that exact reason.

I wouldn't even want to guess at how many hours I'd spent on my car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

That's sadly one of the main reasons I don't want to buy a new car. I dread the task of sound deadening it.......

slow is good with deadener. you wanna make sure you get every nook and craney with it, no air bubbles, compress it as much as possible.. it can be time consuming, but obviously well worth it in the end. hell, everything with audio should be done slowly. work smart not hard, measure twice, cut once. get it?
