ok, i sold skippy a grill on layitlow.com. and know that he has gotten it, he says after looking at it close up in person he sees small inperections that could not see in pix. i got the grill from a chrome shop that had a customer drop it off and never returned to pick it up (years ago) so it's been sitting unused in the chrome shop for years. as you can see in the pix, i took as many detailed pix as i could to give anyone how may be interested in it a chance to know exactly what they are bying. i even put a ruller in the pix so you want have to guess the sizes.

he has open a dispute with paypal saying that the grill is not as discribed. he says that the grill was together in the pix. i told him if he looked at the pix closer, that the grill is just laying in its frame but not bolted together (two bolt holes at the bottom). i layed the grill in its place just to give you a good idea what it would look like. and anybody can see its not bolted together nore is it in place perfectly. beside how is that a big enough problem to file a claim. its his over site not mine. he also says that the bottom bar (mounting tab) is bent. i told him again if he looked at the pix, he could clearly see that the bar is bent. apparently it had to be bent for proper fitment. in my f/s thread i clearly state that the pix will speak for them selves. if he as a buyer had any conserns about any mynute details that he him self could not see in all the close up detailed pix i took, than its on him to ask or even ask for even closer pix of any area of the grill.(i would have don it with no problem)

this is all he had to say in the dispute..

"I have recived the grill and is not how you descibed it as, nore is it "MINT" and its not together and it was bent..."

you guys tell me what u think...

PayPal will **** you. Get ready for it now.

And please learn to spell and use proper grammar and punctuation - **** that shit was painful to read.

it was in plastic dude, i couldnt see chit, looked ok though through the plastic lol
that's not my grill. that was a grill i found on ebay that looked just like it. scroll down my f/s thread just a tad bit more and you will see the pix i posted of my grill.

I think it looks great. I don't see anywhere on the ad where it says mint (unless I missed it). Did you tell him it was all together? Does it matter? How long does it take to put it together?

I hope you don't get screwed but our opinions on here at this moment don't matter. Paypal doesn't value opinions on some forum.

u have pix of every angle so you should be ok. this happened to me with some rims that i sold on ebay and the guy put them on his car and curb checked them. he filed a dispute and paypal just looked at my listing and saw pictures with dates and agreed with me. as long as you have pictures your not at fault

Having "used" in the title means there will be some signs of use or imperfections. I would have taken better pics, but he chose to buy it with what he saw and accepted the "as is" description. "As is " means "buyer beware" to me, so that covered you IMO.

it only takes two nuts and bolts to put it together 1min tops...

i know paypal don't value opinions on forums, but i feel i did nothing wrong and just wanted to see if you guys felt the same way....

well, i responded to his dispute in paypal about 10min ago and escalated it to claim. then it was showing it as being reviewed. now i just checked back on it and it is not showing anything on my resolution center nore is it showing that paypal issued a refund out back to the buyer. is that it? i won? i no longer have anything pending or open cases....

Had a guy do the same to me about some headlights I had, and they hadn't even had to plastic taken off the lenses. What happen with the grill was he got it and realized he really didn't want it and is now trying to screw you over and say its messed up. I see absolutley nothing wrong with it in the pics...looks really clean...

If it didn't take but 2 screws to put together and you didnt say it was put together why is he complaining...
