i say you do the build but don't brace anything and leave some gaps here and there, and then i say you do her wiring so that her car with eventually burn down, go on cardomain and look at some of the installs, there are some that are garenteed to burn down. or (if she doesn't know shit about car audio) since you said the stuff you bought for her was better than yours, swap them out and put your ish in her car and the new stuff in yours but either way, wire the car to burn up

Oh, I forgot to update... LOL.

She came over at like 8-ish.

I threw the subs in, I used a scrap piece of wood to prop the amp against the box and the back of the car, set the gain and 3/4 way, and told her to leave. It was too dark to take pictures so I just shrugged it off.

I didn't feel like getting a test tone CD, or my DMM... I said fuck it. -shrug- The subs should run fine... for a while.

My girlfriend and I decided to break up.She cheated on me, and the guilt ate her up, and because of it, she didn't trust me because once you cheat on someone you start to suspect them to be cheating on you, so you can't really trust them.

Anyway, she still hasn't admitted to cheating... but the guy told me and he kept apologizing. That was a month or two ago.

Anyway...

She gave me money and I purchased a full system for her, but I agreed that I'd still install it / build the box...

So, am I a chump?

I'm not doing it 'cause I feel obligated... I kinda just like installing car audio ish.

Heh. This is an old thread. I finished the install already. I realized things were fawked right after I did the brute of the work (Running wires/rcas, setting up the amps, etc.)

But, I DID use her Big 3 wire on my car instead of hers. Now it's idling at 14.01v //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

But I still need a 180amp fuse. Anyone have one? AGU style.

I might have a 200 in my glove box. I used to keep all that stuff around. There's a spot in the flea market near me that you can get anl fuses for a dollar. I would honestly switch that out for an ANL holder.

Well, I used 4 AWG for the big 3, and got a free AGU fuse holder, so I thought I'd use it. I don't really want to make and/or buy an ANL holder.
