aluminum 10" eclipse HELP NEEDED!!

my cousin is hooking me up with a 10" aluminum eclipse....i need to know what the specs are on this sub...and what kind of power i need to be pushing the sub for everyday driving.

i was thinking about getting either this eclipse or a 1000w rms audiobahn and hooking that up to a hifonics bx1500d

which one would u recommend?

Eclipse > Audiobahn, plain and simple.

RMS was around 500w on the alums. Box size I don't recall off hand...small sealed work best IIRC.

Depends...what impedence are the coils?

I'd find an amp that does around 500w @ 2ohm. There are way too many to list.

Those woofers were (are) VERY beefy. They sounded great, looked even better. I liked them especially for the sound quality, but the output was there if you had the power (TONS of mass to move). Get the biggest amp you can get your mitts on for it. The closer to 1000 watts RMS power you can get to those, the happier you'll be.
