i have two alts i want to get rid of.

first off is a GM CS144 alternator wound to output 250 amps, and bench tested to put out over 300 amps at 6k rpm. the bench test also showed output of 250 amps at under 3k rpm's IIRC. as far as fitment goes, this alternator is in a case that is not a direct fit to any citizen grade vehicle, it is made for commercial applications (ambulances, fire trucks, big trucks, etc), but you can get brackets to fit it to just about any vehicle with room under the hood, and any (good) shop should be able to fab up the brackets. the alt is BNIB, never installed on any vehicle, i sold my truck before i had the chance to put it on. asking $300 shipped for it.

next up is a dominick iraggi alt, and this sale has a bit of a twist, and if you have been on here a while you probably know the story. dominick sold me an alt that is a piece of shit, and he refuses to admit it. in a feeble attempt at making the situation right, he has offered to replace it with any alt that i want for myself, or anyone else. so here is your chance to get a BNIB dom iragi alt for any vehicle or fitment that you want. the alt will be brand new from dominick, and this is a good deal for anyone brave enough to trust anything dominick says. i dont have his email anymore, but if someone wants to post it up here i will email this for sale ad to him so he can be in the loop, or if anyone else wants to email it to him they are more than welcome too, he was not man enough to answer me in the other thread, but he has made this offer a few times in the past because he is not honest enough just to refund the money i wasted on this alt, and after i requested the refund SEVERAL times. but if anyone is interested, $350 shipped for any brand new alt he can build

 
yeah, thats why i added the part about how its a good deal for anyone brave enough to believe anything he says...

i dont know though, from what ive seen about 30% of the alts he makes actually work. so its kind of a crapshoot.

anyone got his email address so we can send this to him so he can verify it, or claim he has never tried to make such a deal with me.

 
This may be a dumb question but how hard would it be to make my own braket. I have a 2000 4runner that I could use the first alt u listed on. I just wouldnt want to pay a shop to build me a bracket cause shops around here charge crazy for small things like that

 
it was wound by a local shop just north of charlotte. they also wound a smaller alt for my truck that worked like a beast. gobs of power right off of idle. i dont know how they would handle a warranty on it since i bought it about 10 months ago, but its never been installed, and it has their phone number on it if there was ever an issue with it.

The cs144 has the 2 bolt holes on the bottom of the case right?

also, i did not recall correctly, the CS144 was wound to do 200 amps, but was tested to do 300 amps at 6k rpm. i was thinking it was more, but remembered it once i pulled the box out.

also, i have a stock GM alt from off of my silverado with the 5.3l motor in it, if anyone is interested in that one. it could be a stock replacement, or could be used as a core for a re-wind, or if someone is interested i could take it to the local place and have them do a re-wind for it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif .
