Altec Lansing ala200 and Sherwood SCP-802

Item(s) Description/Condition:

Both amps are in pretty bad physical condition. Bought a lot of amps from a guy who apparently, after finding a glass shard in one of the amps I tossed, was a junk yard dog. Both amps I never heard of. The altec works fine, the Sherwood is untested. I opened up the amps before deciding if i should hook them up in my car. The sherwood has ALOT of dust in it, and unsure whats a safe way to remove it all. So, selling them together. If a buyer is found I can make a video of the amp working and can test the Sherwood so you see it works. If not sold in a week, they will find their way on CL.

Price: hell, I dunno. 60+shipping.

I too had that exact same sherwood amp like 20 years ago...was a great amp for its day.

Altec stuff is pretty rare though, maybe some hardcore amp junkie might want it.

I used to rock a Sherwood 220 on some house speakers that I put into the trunk

Yeah, never seen either of them before. I started up with the prestige and California profile amps with the old school punch power dvc's. Figure I would put them here seeing how its a little more specific amp insted of them living out their days in a trunk with some explodes to play on, lol.

yeah, i lold when i opened it. UPDATE! Tested out sherwood, and shes dead, no power at all. 30+ shipping for this piece of history, lol

The altec amp is a decent little power plant. Does 350-400 bridged and sounds ok. Would be good for some door speakers or a low powered sub.
