So earlier today I set up a thread asking for some SQ sub suggestions because I thought I blew my subs. To recap I was driving my Merc to work this morning and I noticed I had to turn the volume up really loud in order to get just a little bass. I automatically assumed, "Well, the coils are gone,"

The reason: my iPod EQ setting was on the Spoken Word setting which is why I couldn't get any bass. I listen to a lot of lectures and radio interviews so I often forget to reset it back. I just wanted to leave this post as a record that they are not blown, because I am fixing to post them up in the Classifieds for sale. I want a T3 TSS to try now, no more dual subs for the moment. Plus, the Sundown is a little bit too much for them and someone with 800-1000 watts would never get rid of these if you want SQ. Here's some proof:

With the Eclipse iPod interface my iPod sounds better than CDs. No sh!t.

It was a 144 actually, and I have my MMATS to throw in for the mean time until Immacomputer can design me a new box. Hopefully I'll have the T3 in next weekend.

I can tell the difference from iPod to CD. I also have a Pioneer Adaptor bus and can tell. I still use my iPod when my girl is in the car for convienence. Seems to work better that way. I may end up just giving it to her.

Hell I can tell the difference from song to song just on the iPod. Some are louder than others. I much rather have a CD for listening purposes, but is a pain to load 1 cd at a time as I don't have a changer and what not.
