Some dynamat goo around the crossover cases. If you see any black sludge, don't worry it's only dynamat. One tweeter has a little nick on the casing, feel out of my hand during removal

I haven't had any problems with the module.

Reception is GREAT. I can leave my cell phone in the house and start my car in the garage (about 25 ft) and it will sync with it.

Caller ID works, you have to sync your phone with the HU to display the name & number. If you don't it will only display the number.

Clarity, Installation of the mic is key. I had mine installed toward the center dome lights aim to the driver's seat. Callers reported same quality as speaker phone, acceptable. If you have a nice quite interior, you shouldn't have a problem.

Another thing to mention. Bluetooth audio streaming is great on this unit, doesn't lag or miss a beat. I streamed music from my BB curve with no problems. I can tell you it works better than Pioneers 980bt unit that I had owned.
