I want to have a system that is completely hidden so Im looking for a small powerful amp to fit under my seat.

Would this amp be sufficient to run the following?

Front pair of Focal 165 vr

Rear channels bridged for subwoofer either a JL 10w3v3 or a 10w6v2

any other suggestions id be happy to hear em.

Ill use the headunit for rear fill.

i dont think it will push close to rms of w6, or even w3. what is it supposed to put out bridged?

well actually, it should be 300rms bridged. I dont know how close you wanna get to rms on sub, but if 300 is good for you, i dont forsee a problem. those pdx amps are nice, and it sounds like your going sq, so I would imagine it would sound very good

Trying to go SQ on a budget...one amp, one sub, nice fronts.
Its going in an Audi A3
What's the biggest amp you can fit in your car? There are a lot of nice 4-channel options that will run a set of components + single sub very nicely, but most of them are class A/B so they can get relatively big.

The Class d Alpine PDX will do the job, I had 2 of them they are underrated, my 2.150 was rated at 169rms 2-4ohm stereo and 338 bridged. 2-4ohm. They run very cool too.

medium not large..what other amps should i look at if size werent an issue

Used to be only $130, but since the price went up there are a few other amps that are in the price range. This is just the first one that comes to mind though.

Well, it'll be pretty much the same unless you actually use all 5 channels (fronts, rears and sub). If you only want 3 channels (fronts and a sub), there's no difference really.

The DSC4125 currently has boner status, though, and for good reason. Check it out. More power for your sub, and you don't have to deal with the possibility of noise issues the PDX amps are known for.
