I have a few questions regarding installing this amp. I have 2 kicker cvr 10 subs to which this will be hooked up. The amp will be connected to a cap, and that cap is connected to my 2nd amp which is a 4channel powering my components.

1. What setting do I need for the subsonic filter?.

2. Do I set the input gain selector to 1.0V-8.0V since my deck has 4V preouts?

3. Around what should the LP filter be set to? I was thinking like 60Hz

A:

1. If sealed no subsonic needed, if ported then 10 Hz below tuning should be adequate.

2. Buy a DMM and set your gains propperly see sticky in amp section, or set it to the 4 setting as a general rule of thumb, but get a Dmm and do it right.

3. Low pass filter set as high as your front midbass can play cleanly, so probably around 80 Hz depending on your frotn components.

Its a sealed enclosure so il leave the subsonic off

I dont have a dmm and my installer buddy is out of town for a week, so either i have to wait or I can do the install myself

How does the LP filter relate to the comps if this amp is for the subs? I have kappa perfect so there is no bass really, right now i have them set at 70 since ive been running wihtout subs for the past month.
