Message: <blockquote data-quote="rallyben" data-source="post: 1098612" data-attributes="member: 562016"><p>ok, so I have this alpine amp and whenever I turn up my stereo past 25 or so (check signature) the amp will stop working for a second, then turn back on, then turn off, so on and so forth.  I have a 4 gauge wire going to the amplifier straight from the battery with an in-line 30amp fuse.  When the amp "stops working" I mean that no sound comes out, but the light on the top of the amp stays on, and the fan connected to it stays spinning.  Do I need to put a capacitor on there to stop the amp from cutting out or is there something else I don't understand about this amp?  Thanks for the help.</p></blockquote><p></p>
