Alpine iDA x-100 went BAD over night

try resetting the ipod that happens with my computer sometimes it might be the same with the head unit

put the ipod on hold for 10 seconds take it off hold then hold the middle button and play/pause button untill screen turns black with the apple logo

headunit is perfectly fine i just needa get a new ipod...the only thing it can do is charge...itunes wont pick it up either so yea
