Replacement deck needed, im replacing the Eclipse CD5200 . . . going with either , Alpine cda-9887 or Eclipse CD-7200 MkII . . . all input appreciated

Go with what you can get cheaper???

Both are great decks, but it's kinda hard to recommend one or the other when you don't really say what you're wanting out of it. If all you need is a CD player, you can get away with something much cheaper.

7200 all the way, I have one and the features on it are amazing. Offers a lot of flexibility.
