I have a like new Alpine CDA-9887. Its less then 7 months old, and doesn't have ANY faceplate scratches, GREAT, like new condition.

It has been installed for it's life, so the install cage is used, and the wire harness will be just a bit shorter then new.

i want to know just one thing.

whats the secret on keeping the writing on the blue buttons!?! only after a few months it started to fade on my first alpine in my first car. then when i got a new car along with a 9847, i tried hard not to touch it in a way that it will fade, but it still fades. whats the secret sir?

You have to moisturize regulary!!

You know what, I don't really know. I had a 9855 before and the direction arrows wore all the way off after a year. This unit though, not a single sign of wear. Go figure
