ALPINE CDA-9885 VS. Pioneer DEH-P880PRS

I'm a newbie when it comes to audio. But I want something with the best sound quality. The pioneer is about 100 more. Is it worth it? I like the looks of the pioneer a lot more than the alpine.

Go to a store and listen to them and test them out. Easy way to see which one you prefer. more than looks, check the specs on them and see if one looks better to you than the other. I woud personially choose the pioneer because i have had one with no problems with mine and only good things to say about it. Hope this helps. good luck

Between those 2 I would take the 880. Has a lot more tuning features. But it all depends on what you are wanting out of the deck. If all you want is bass and treble and a simple crossover then the alpine would work. If you are wanting a 16 band EQ and an adjustable crossover then the Pioneer. Like everyone else says go listen to them both first.

Only a brick and mortar car audio shop that caries Pioneer Premier.

Pioneer should have a dealer locator on their site.

Order it online and save a lot of $$$.. Bad for stores but, good for the consumer..
