I bought this head unit yesterday because it looked nice and I wanted to be able to hook my ipod up to it. The problem is (I must be retarded) I can't see any spot where I could plug any sort of wire in to connect the ipod to. I looked online, and it says on alpines website what you need to connect it, but after going out into my car to look at where it goes, I can't find it. Does anyone have any idea where it goes?

There is a green plug coming out of your head unit, you need to buy the alpine ipod wire and connect it into that in order to use your ipod.

eGay has them for like $15 shipped

on the back, theres a maybe 2 in cord that sticks out that you cna connect alpines ipod cord to it. but if im not mistaken its comes preattached

Thats odd. My buddy picked up the 9884 a little while ago and he said the cable was included.

I just hooked up my 9884 yesterday, got it from sound advice and mine came with the ipod cable.
