I have not personally used a 8445, but I have used and still have an 8455. The 8445 meets all your other wants.  I like the older eclipse HU.I do not believe the 8445 has Ipod control or does it.However, I memory serves me right here the 8445 will go full active with T/A, Eq, X-over.
