I just had to see what you guys think about this auction. I have been watching this auction just to see how high it would go. The HU sold for around 500 new and even though this guy says it is in great condition, it is still a used HU. What do you all think about this? I wonder if someone has grief with this seller and is submitting fraud bid's?

That is how the bid histories are done now. Only you and the seller can see your name. I noticed it the other day.

Yea man, I noticed the bid history is different as well. Kinda sux because I liked seeing the number of feedbacks the bidders had. That would at least give you some comfort that the bidders were legit. With the new method, you have no idea as to the bidders experience or history. Which is EXACTLY what is going on here! The sellers buddies or alternate Ebay ID is bidding this up to all h3ll.

You know, this board rocks. Just imagine the poor uneducated bastard that might stumble upon that auction and bid on something like that.

People on this board have a very good grasp on car audio equipment and what things are worth.

I just noticed that but did you notice the eBay notice at the top??? It looks like all auctions will be saying that for bid history from now on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I think it kind of sucks but eBay defends it by saying it will reduce fraud by stopping other people from contacting bidders in an attempt to scam them. To me, it prevents me from finding sellers who shill bid on auctions, meaning it will increase fraud IMO. I mean who's stupid enough to fall for "fake offers" from other eBay members who just email you because you bid on an item from another seller?
