Has anyone had any problems with this unit...more specifically the mp3...do you experience slow loading times? Just looking for others thoughts.

I got the cda 9813. The mp3 load time seems the same as a regular audio cd.

The7998 is freakin awesome (I have 7897- same thing basically)...

Yeah...I'm loving it.

The 9813 is pretty dam nice as well...just going out to tune it in a few minutes.

I really like mine...it's great.

Her's is easier to use...most of the functions are pretty straight forward, although I havent figured out how to set the clock yet - yeah, I havent read the manual.

change the display so that it shows the clock.

then hold the clock button (i think it is the title button, but it has a little clock above it) and the clock will start blinking. adjust it like you do anything else.

Yup, I just read the manual and figured it out.

Is the 9811 a good deck or should i go with the 9813.

It has more better features and it's only $40 more.

Go with the 9813...it's worth the extra $40.

You get the Bass Engine Pro instead of Plus...and you dont get that 1 line display, now you have three. Plus a few other little minor details.
