Hey I have 2 Of these amps. I am planning on getting some type r's. Do you think these amps will be enough or should I try to get something bigger.
I was thinking a Dual 4 Dropped to 2 ohm.....

What do yall think? Never had experience with these amps are they any good?

Here is a link to the amps.

Thanks for any help!
I would say that if you already have the amps go ahead and try them out and go from there. Those amps are purdy solid. It would prolly be easy to use one amp for both subs as far as setup goes but like said before go ahead and try them out.I think 600+ watts to each TypeR in the right box should be plenty loud.Let us know how it goes........

Why do I need a 1 Ohm load?....

Amp Specs....

• 250W x 1 RMS (4ohm, 12.0V, 1% THD+N)

• 400W x 1 RMS (2ohm, 12.0V, 1% THD+N)

• 400W x 1 RMS (4ohm, 14.4V, 1% THD+N)

• 600W x 1 RMS (2ohm, 14.4V, 1% THD+N)

Those amps are tits!

You cant wire 2 subs down to 2 ohm with that amp! You can only wire one 4 ohm sub down to 2 ohms with this amp. Get another amp!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Edit:

you do have 2 amps! yes, you can do that. 2 subs @ 2 ohm each.
