alphasonik

They do about 60-75% of rated power.
They were the same company as audiobahn until they were recently sold.
some of the audiobhans even do rated power. the a8001 that i had, got hot as fvck and burned up 6 months, but it did do the stated power.

The 3000w Alphasonic amp I had did 2100w tops. I could not get any more power out of it even with no voltage drop at all on 16v.

My Audiobahn 2400HC did 1900w and I could not get any more out of that one either.

With the same battery and alternator setup, I was getting over 2100w out of each of my MTX 1501Ds

I thought it was PMA 3000, it was rated at 3000w x 1 at 1 ohm. It had the hours meter on it.

I also forget the model number of the Audiobahn amp but it was the 2400w model with the flames on it and blue VU meters.

The heatsink on that thing rattled horribly.
