Theres a good deal on this amp on ebay, I like the included remote volt meter and hour meter. I know alphasonik has been around since the 80s, how do you guys feel about this amp and company. I like to do lots of research before I buy stuff, and thought this was the best place to find out....

Hard to say really.

You will find a lot of similarities between Alpha and Audiobahn.

Judging by the amp's layout (ampguts) it's similar, but not identical, to the popular Power Acoustik A3000dB and Lanzar Opti2000D. Those are/were both pretty respectable, inexpensive big power sub amps.

Alpha was bought several years ago by Audiobahn, and all signs indicate Audiobahn has recently gone out of business. There's probably and Audiobahn duplicate (and maybe Visonik - another sibling company) you could ask for opinions on, but you'd have to track down which one that is.

~2400w seems like a stretch (the Lanzar and PA are both around 2000), but I'm sure it will give you a boatload of power if you have the charging system to support it.
