im in desperate need for a new phone. My old razr the 3,6,9 and space key will not work, and the screen is cracked. I bought a new LG phone off of a freind who had it for a month and it turned out water logged, and is now messing up where every call is dropped within a minute and text will not work.

I am looking for a durable phone, with atleast a camera and somewhat new style. flip phone preferred, and needs to be alltel phone.

I am looking at the moto-q as of right now and am not realy sure if I like it or not. any other ideas?

the Q is nice but it's a beast in the pocket

Razr's are nice cuz they fit in the dope pocket on your right side (well, my south pole jeans at least)

i'd buy a Q or razr v9m if i had the choice

Don't get the Q unless you want a phone that will have a dead battery within 4-5 hours. I hated mine and if you text alot the battery won't last but around 4-5 hours top's. I even bought the extended battery which only lasted for about 8 hours. Not to mention the phone would reboot itself for no reason what so ever. So, I traded it and upgraded to a HTC Touch. Which is a good choice if you want a phone with all touch screen functions. Another good thing about the Touch and the Q as well is the Internet Sharing. If you have a laptop and are somewhere that doesn't have a WiFi HotSpot and you keep the USB with you you can connect via USB Cable and use the phone as a modem and get some pretty decent connection speed's.

My brother has the Samsung Hue I believe it's called and seem's to like it. It's a cheap flip phone, take's a storage card so you can store MP3's and what not on it, has a camera, and seem's to have a good battery life.

I have a Moto Q sitting on my desk that only lasts 4 hours with the extended battery. I currently use a Palm Treo 700p.

the texting on mine and my sisters is laggy and unreliable. it drops calls like crazy and just feels really cheap to me.
i liked my razr better. and my LG V before that the best.
I never had a texting problem with mine. The texting was better on my Scoop then my Treo. I never dropped a call and I used to live in northern Michigan.

thats weird cause i live in traverse city. i already used the warranty to get a new one because of the same problem. i suppose i am just unlucky.

not looking at the scoops. I know they are peices of crap. the screens will go blank after a while as almost all of my freinds with scoops, and they break within 3 months if you text 5000 a month + or so and thats what I do. so thats a no go.
