I would think it's fairly self-explanatory. Drill holes in the box, slide rod through, use washers & nuts to attach and tighten. To counter-sink, drill a hole the size of your socket, use a piece of wood glued & screwed to the inside to cover the hole, drill a hole in it for your rod, then use washer & nuts to attach and tighten.

 
These are the only pics I have online. In the first one you can see the small piece of wood attached to the inside.

You can sorta see the inside of the back wall and see how the rod & nut are countersunk into the front. Make sure to use washers & nuts on both the inside and outside of the box.
