Well if this is the case then with all these Detriot all stars, then why not just put the western conference against the Detriot Pistons, I mean really. I guess no one else deserves to make it unless you are on the best team in the league. Stupid voting this year. Who is the coach on the eastern side? Humm probably detriots I would imagine.

I dont get into NBA as much as when the year started. I still like it, just tired of all the drama and shit in it.

for one thing the coach with the best record, coaches the game, that's the rule and it detroit was the best team. flip was not picked to coach the team, it happens his team has the best record. name a power forward more deserving then rasheed? hamilton was the only one that could be debated. if you are the best team, then obviously the players are playing well.

he has more rebounds, but rasheed has ben wallace. also second year players don't make the team. if lebron didn't make an all-star team till his third year, the howard won't either. also there will be a power forward spot open because o'neal is out with an injury

he has more rebounds and better fg%, but rasheed would kill him in 3 point shooting. again you also have the ben wallace factor. the pistons have been snubed a lot. this is billups and hamilton's first all star appearance. rasheed is a more versatile player then howard. if your numbers are this close, why would you go with a player, from a bad team, then from a good team. it's not like howard is a clear cut favorite. rasheed did finish third in voting behind o'neal and james by the fans

Because I am more for the general rule of thumb that if you are having an all star type of season then you should get the nod, but unfortuanally that is not how it goes anymore. Yes Wallace may be better at 3 pts then Howard, but that is Wallace's game. He is no where near as physical as Howard is in the paint. Even in Wallace's young days couldnt match up with him. I give it to Wallace for being able to shoot the 3 well for a big man. Oh well, nothing we can do about it anymore, so it is final. it's not like howard is tim duncan or something, you are talking 2 who are very close in numbers, and of course they are going to go with the one from the winning because he has played more meaningful minutes then howard, and why do you not think billups, hamilton, and ben wallace are not having all-star type seasons?
