What the hell are you talking about man?

I'm talking about Uggla's first two errors.

ive always wondered. why do runners hold their batting gloves when they run. why not wear them of put them in your back pockets? i played baseball my whole life and have never seen anyone do that other than major league players.

It's so they don't run with their hands open, and break their wrists on a slide into a bag.

An extended hand jamming into a base will snap alot easier than a clinched fist slamming into the bag. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

actually i have played since 8 and still play for college ball and i started doing that around 14 years old the reason is so when you slide its proven when you have something in your hands you keep them up and out of the way if you go in feet first and if you go in hand first its so your fingers arent exposed because you keep your hands balled up until u grab the bag

Either or, sorta the same concept. To keep your hands closed.

What school do you play for?

makes sense. never really thought of it. i just thought they didnt want to get their batting gloves dirty. haha it did always **** when batting gloves would start to get hard and youd have to spit on them all the time to get the grip back haha.

i know alot about baseball like something not many people do is when runner on 1st and 3rd and the runner goes to second on the pitch let the catcher throw to 2nd but instead of the ball going to 2nd have your 2nd baseman come in and cut the throw behind the mound and if the 3rd base runner is goign home or far enough off the bag gun the ball to 3rd

and another one is say you have someone bunting the ball well the 3rd baseman comes in and the runner will come in even with the 3rd baseman so once the pitch is made you have your short run to 3rd base and the catcher throws behind the runner and hes caught in the middle

and ay u need a run to tie or win and have one out and runner on 1st and 3rd send the runner to 2nd and if they dont throw have the runner stop in between first and 2nd and guess wat most of the time they will throw down and try to get the runner out and u can get the runner at 3rd home

its just smart baseball
