nothing's wrong with the btl. they changed it because they probably spent a shit ton of money taking the stock motor, and modifying it to work with what 95% of the consumers bought.What was wrong with the old BTL? I think if you have something that works great, you shouldnt change it. But thats just my personal preference.
why not just have the motor already to go, no machining, modifying etc etc and just slap it together and ship it out?
thats what i would do...
