All 3 Fuses blowing on a TIS Audio, 1800w Amp

I'm trying to find out why my fuses are blowing. I got a brand new TIS Audio 1800w amp that I just hooked up tonight.

My setup is a regular car battery (no extra batteries) and then 6 ga. wire running back to my trunk with an 80amp fuse in the power wire. 6. ga ground wire also.

The amp has 3 25 amp fuses on-board and when I hooked it up and started up my car, the amp turned on and ran for about 10 sec and then all 3 fuses popped. No protection lights went on at all. Put in 3 more fuses, and pop same thing happend.

Could this be a short inside my new amp? If so I'll just get a warranty

Also is TIS Audio a good brand for an average amp? (I'm not going for show at all) It was only $85 on ebay new.

if i were you i would sell your amp and get a better one....that amp is gona give you problems...just letting you know...or get your money back....that amp is not worth you keeping it

Somethings grounded, and yes that amp isnt the greatest thing around...

Do you mean that something inside the amp is grounded out and shorting the system?

Could that be cause by a bad ground cable connection. I used the same ground as with my old amp that I had no problems with and I put petroleum jelly on the bolt and ground connection to stop corrosion...

No, nothing inside of the amp. Somewhere in your connections to the amp, something is shorting. Whether it be power wires, speaker wires, or maybe your amp is touching the metal somewhere on the body of the car shorting. It has to be a short though, fuses don't pop for the hell of it. And use silicone to cover the area you grounded rather than jelly.

I thought TIS made rims //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

they do...but they killed it by making amps

If the fuses in the amp are blowing, it's got nothing to do with your power connections. Sounds like a bad amp.

Are there warranty void if removed stickers? If not, pop it open. I bet you'll see of find something obvious. (short or bad power supply fets possibly)

Thanks for the input.

I'll test different things and make sure all my connections are solid.
