Alan Dante

Great guy in person, funniest accent ever....really helpful when i talked to him for about 20 mins at SBN. He does have a lot of pride in his ego and scores, and does like to boast about em a bit. But IMO, he has a right too, he's fuking LOUD. he's got great character.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Alan is a good guy just a little misunderstood. There is no denying that he has a little ego because he is the loudest guy in the world or one of the loudest. But the ego is mostly his love for what he does and the sport of SPL competition.

He gets really excited when someone does good with Stetsom product and when he talks about it it comes off as a little egotistical or bragging. But it's more of him being excited about what people do with Stetsom product.

He's also the type of person that gets himself in trouble because when he gets upset he doesn't know how to keep what he says under control. What ever he thinks it just comes out. He knows that he does this and it upsets some people and he now makes an effort not to get into heated discussions with people on the internet or in person.

Over all he's a very friendly and smart guy that is always willing to help when he can.

Hey Jeff.

You always got the correct words when people need some legit info....

Just like Jeff said... Alan is a good guy. I've talked to him lots of times and even when he's busy, he'll make the time to answer all my questions and helps me out by giving me his knowlege.

Now... talking about Miss information regarding true value info about their amps/moddes is a different story.

Still love his Amps. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

Sorry that made me lol a little.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rotflol.gif.b453361716769b8110ddefc85ff03cd2.gif

Yeah Alan can get carried away with himself. And about the help. Yeah he will help you all day long as long as you are running Stetsom and DD. I have known Alan since 2000. Back when he couldn't get his Extreme car in to the 50's on the old meter. We were doing very well in extreme 1-2 and would let him go through the car with a tape measure. Was he a teammate no he was the competition. Now to see him act like he does makes me laugh. Dont get me wrong now I like Alan as Alan just not as the dB God everyone (including himself) has made him out to be. This may have come off as me just sounding like an *** so take it as you want.,

An as far as his accent get him talking about batteries. It always made me laugh to here him say buttarieees

yup. good guy, gets carried away a bit. i met him down in NC going to a competition. i was hoping his 180 would be there, but stormy weather and a low point show with an unfinished ride forced him to leave it at home.

he is hard to understand in person and on the web, but dont judge him for his excitement because thats just how he is. he loves his gear thats for sure lol.
