Air Bag Suspension

air ride is really good

do you want to lay your frame on the ground or not

cuz if you want to do that youll have to c notch the frame and some modifications up front too most likely

and thats anywhere form 3-5 gs

then where the hell is your argument? you can install a WHEEL wrong, and something **** up..........want me to ride around without wheels? a good install will be reliable and not give you problems. period.
yes but there is ALOT more to eff up with an airbag suspension its not like a wheel where you can only stick it on one way. good product and proper install is key... and costs serious $$$ and in the end is it REALLY worth it? I've been down the airbag road... and it wasn't fun... then again the install was done by monkey's and the product was crap... but still I'm not going to go bag my truck anytime soon... listening to those **** compressors is the last thing I want to do every morning while I have to wait freakin 10 minutes for some psi

so dont go switch happy the last 5 minutes of your ride home.....leaves a half tank at LEAST in the morning....

your saying all this bad stuff about the suspension, then completely ruining your argument by saying it was done like shit...that would explain your problems lol

yes its a lot of money, yes its a lot of work, and YES IT IS WORTH IT.

I had fun for about 10 minutes... until the novelty wore off van go up.... van go down.....van go up *click* BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

It's only alot of money if you take it somewhere to have it done. If you can & KNOW how to do it yourself, you can save 50%+. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif It's really all just preference and taste. Some like it some dont. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

i cant afford to send my shit somewhere LOL. im hurting right now on my motor and that MAY cost me 1500.but, i will have 2 frames for that reason alone when it comes time to do the swap over.

I have had 3 bagged dailies. I am on #3 actually. I can lay out completely on 24s. The ride is awesome. Parts arent what determines the reliability....well, not 100%.

If you get good stuff, and install it properly, and not act an ***, you will have a reliable setup. My last 2 were bagged with AIM/ChassisTech stuff, and I never had a problem with it. My 1st truck was 100% AIM stuff. And she was a hopper on ball valves, with only 3/8" airline. I was slammin 350 psi in a 30 gallon tank tho. By the way, I may be getting her back!!! Anyways, its mostly about the install and operator. Act an *** on cheap stuff done poorly, expect problems. Even some higher priced things are built cheap. KP is good tho, get KP and you'll be happy.

I highly recommend not airbagging your daily ride
i know you have validated somewhat your self on furture posts but if this was true, alot of semi's wouldnt be on the road today.

in my yard(at work) i have a air suspension roll back and semi so ya its fine

i didn't say airbags ride like crap... my cans did tho

like every one is saying if done properly it is very reliable. im thinking about baggin and bodydropping my daily.

oh and there is a thing called engine driven compressors, you use either a york or a sanden ac compressor

My 1st truck was 100% AIM stuff.
Yuck
myvanpounds: There are things you can do... like, I'm adding a scuba system so that I can be switch happy for at least a week without having the compressors go on. There is a local place that will fill my scuba tank up for free, for a year. I will eventually add more compressors (I have two right now). When I upgrade my electrical system (new alternator, more batteries) I would love to run more compressors. When I run out of air, it will take seconds to completely fill up versus the minute it takes now.
