Aim for 15's?

=] So I'm excited on buying my first system, not wanting anything ridiculous though, an someone told me I'll be spending alot to figure out what I'll truly like. We'll I'm just expecting on probably buying x2 15's and putting a fitted bandpass box in back of my tahoe, in back of 2nd row seats. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Soooo anyone have any opinions for my cheap a$$? I found a box from caraudio.com support sites they list, the bandpass box goes for like 46$ but I think i should probably get custom one so it fits? so it doesn't slide around in back... i don't know. Anyone help please?

I could build my own box, but messing around with it, i'd rather not do it myself, i really don't have the time to do be building one, i barely have an hour atleast, i'm basically driving all day or working.. :\

budget would be like 500-1k total, on subs I'd say like 750 most for both...??

people tell me thats very low, but I must be able to get something at least decent?

I'm not aiming for competition, i want to have crisp sound quality an the good earthquake feel.. thats why i think bandpass might be a good type box, so i read from the description and my friend has a 10" bandpass...

I'm was looking around to get something like 120 db and maybe 500 watt for each sub, maybe more... i don't know, everyone might know more on this website than I do, so I'll let you help me if you could.

A bandpass box must be carefully designed based on the subs you use, the vehicle, and your goals. A generic bandpass box would NOT work. Your best bet if you want to go prefab is to just go sealed. I would not get a prefab ported or bandpass box.

hmm its really that difficult, ouch.. but doesn't bandpass give best feel and sound? or any other opinions on boxes that'll sound good and get the feel? but not cloggy sounding or muffled murmurs?

im going to keep the stock speakers for now, and I know theres a box and wiring as well, an front unit.
