The sub doesn't clip. If you just randomly adjusted the gain, I would not be surprised if you sent a clipped signal to the sub. You really need to set the gain using a DMM
You can burn up just about any coil on 50w if the signal is clipped

i was about to say, you can look at the coil and see where is was scraping

and clipping it didnt help too much

Ahhhh. I see. So the coil got burnt up from it scrapping right?
