Message: <blockquote data-quote="lpskater4886" data-source="post: 2068380" data-attributes="member: 566973"><p>i have a sony headunit, i dont think its the hu cause i never had a problem before, i checked the rcas, the wierd thing is if i pull all my rcas out of my hu i still get static in all 6 channels even thought no signal is going from the hu to the amp so somehow the amp is getting a staticy signal and them amplifying it.  i know its not incorrect hgain on the amp either i checked that, and i just redid all my grounds and centralized them all with brand new cable.  i have a built in voltmeter on my radar detector an i always have between 12-14v. i just dont understand how the amp is getting a signal at all with no rcas hooked up, the only connection between the HU and the amps is the remote wire, and there is still noise.</p></blockquote><p></p>
