Advise on paypal

Hey guys, If someone pays me with paypal and the payment is in my account, can i still get screwed? reason i'm asking is i have a taker on a few things i'm selling but he has no references and not many post here. I once had to go through this obviously and you got to start somewhere. Any advice before i ship the goods?

is his address confirmed? i never had a problem selling. he could always say he never got the item and come after you if you don't ship to a confirmed address.

Actually yes you can.

he can call his CC compant a couple days after you ship the item and say he never paid that amount to anyone,someone stole his account and the CC will take the money from your paypal account. Happened to my friend selling stuff

The guy paid,money was in my buddies paypal account,my buddie shipped him the stuff. The guy then called his CC company and said he never ordered it,his friend did it. so my buddy lost out on the stuff he was selling ANd the money and there was nothing paypal woudl do about it

YES YOU CAN GET TAKEN I HAVE HAD people after paying me and shipping thier items cancell a payment and they got away with it i fought it for a long time till i finally just cancelled the card i had on file and changed the bank acct info so paypal couldnt take the money back on me. they never got it back. i had to close my very well established paypal acct though which sucked but they were not giving him my money and my product hell no. be very careful
