advise on a >$300 150x2 SQ amp

got to replace the 8004 i have for my components now to make room for the 2500d.

been looking hard at the soundstream van gogh 600.2. sells cheap on ebay, 170 shipped. i'm using some really nice components, and i want good SQ. basically i want a tru or an arc, but im not spending 500+ on a component amp.

what are my other options under 300 bucks for a 150-200x2 @ 4ohm SQ amp?

i have also been looking at a rubicon 702. how does this compare to the van gogh, higher quality? i'd kind of like to go old school, and i can wait around to get something used, not in any hurry.

the van gogh isnt a p a amp at all in fact in 06 you are going to see probably their best amps to date

Look for a PPI Power Class 2150 (or 2600). These amps are conservatively rated a 150x2 at 4 ohms. They are the same as the Art series with better a power supply, a fan, and a simple 2 way crossover. Oh, and they have the Qbass feature if you want to run your subs with one and want a dash control bass boost.
