adhering fleece for fiberglass

It's a crap shoot. You run the risk of the resin soaking through and releasing the glue. This happened to me but it wasn't 3M, it was a similar product. For me, it didn't release enough to completely mess up the job. Once it hardened, it was solid though. The spots where it pulled away, I was able to fix with body filler after. Your job sounds a bit different than mine, though, with gluing onto plastic. That might be OK. I was gluing the fleece onto MDF.

I've used 3M 77 & 90 and they both work over the plastic door pannels to hold the fleece. But every time I've done fiberglass resin over fleece it released the glue as well(in spots). So now I glue the fleece down with 3M 90, then staple aong the edges and any areas that may "bubble" if it releases. Then start brushing on resin.

what about on real hard plastic that you cant staple, like the armrest, or where the lock and window buttons are?

the holes are drilled in the plastic where you need the resin to adhere to it . just glue the fabric around the edges try not to have very much excess fabric and stretch it well
ok, ok. and what about at parts where the fiberglass needs to lay down, like where the door panel meets the dash, should I just do the same with drilling holes and using glue?
