Add CDT ES-02 and WS-100i for front stage

I can't find much about these, but it looks like great power handling for a decent price. I'll be feeding a pair of Hertz HV165 with about 120 Wrms and have a four channel 75Wx4 to run the rest of the fronts (full active, obviously). These speakers seem ok in the specs, but what am I missing?

I've sold these speakers together in a lot of systems, as well as running them in my own vehicle in the past. With all active control the power handling specs don't mean a lot, provided smart crossover settings are applied to protect the drivers. You will likely want to turn down the 2" and tweeter channels in relation to the midbass woofers, so they will not get the full 75W most of the time.

What specific questions do you have? Is this your first time running 3-way speakers active?

More of a sanity-check to make sure I'm not going to run into, "Dude, why did you do THAT?" once I get it all put in... Yes, this is my first 3-way front. My truck is running 2-way front and rear fill with an MS-8, but I really want to try the whole active 3-way thing to play with in the car. I'm a mechanical engineer and really like the technical aspects of the whole SQ thing, but don't have $4,000 to spend on audio (in a $3500 car...lol). I've spent a grand total of $700 on the stereo stuff (KDC 997, JL Slash 300/4, Hertz HV165, CDT ES-02 and WS-100i, Sundown SA-10, JL XD600, all wiring and box materials) and am officially tapped on funds. Just want to make sure I'm getting a good starting foundation before starting the install this weekend. Thanks for the reassurance!

I have an older 2 channel 150X2 amp on a shelf. Wonder if I should push the midbass with that to better balance the mids/tweets? So many options... And so much fun.
