ACT tomorrow!!!

anyone else taking the ACT tomorrow?

im (luckily) not taking the writing portion. im terrible! still mad that my school cancelled the sept. 24th ACT because of hurricane katrina (im in dallas )

ive been taking the practice ACT's lately, and tonight i did 30/60 math problems in 20/60 minutes and got all of them right:yumyum:

I didn't take the ACT, only the SAT...and can tell you, once you've done that crap, it'll seem like the most pointless exercise you've ever done. Because nobody cares once you get into college //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I didn't do extremely well on the SAT, but I scored well enough to get into the school I wanted to go to. Which is all that mattered...my self confidence is high enough that I don't mind that some people got scores higher than me - we're all in the same place now anyway.

haha i can imagine... i took the SAT over the summer, it sucked. im looking forward to the ACT though

yeah i took the act, i slept through the science and reading portion so i had to just bubble them in at the end when the teacher wasnt looking, i guess im a good guesser b/c i still got a 25 which is in the top 12%. i want to retake it but i find it pointless so im debating if i should or not.

I had to retake it because when I took it in school it did not have the writing section. At first I was really pissed that I had to take it twice but when I took it again my score increased from a 30 to a 33, so I guess it was worth it. Good luck!

My sister is taking the ACT tomorrow. I took the test twice and scored a 26 then a 27 on it. My friends actually fell asleep during the science portion and still scored 24, I think. The SAT was much harder, but they have redesigned it so much that the test I took is nothing like they take now. However, as Jack Frost said, none of these tests will matter once you are in college, and they aren't any measure of your apititude or ability. I am graduating with my bachelors in less than 2 years while my friend who got a 32 on the ACT is living with her waste-of-space boyfriend after flunking out of the university.
