I have a 2001 Honda CRV and I am mounting 2 10 inch subs in the rear tub that exists in the trunk. When all i said and done, I am going to remove the original OEM trunk liner and replace it with acoustically transparent carpet which will hold up under normal wear and tear. Something that transparent cloth won't do a good job at. Just wondering if you guys could recommend a few choices for me. I saw that there are a few companies such as stinger that sell trunk liner that doesn't have any backing but was wondering what that would do to the sound. If you are curious the subs are going to have plenty of room to move because they are flush mounted and i am using another sheet of mdf to cover and level the entire trunk area and it will also have a cutout for the subs. The hole/rectangle will be covered with a perforated metal grill that I am getting from a local sheet metal shop. My problem is the acoustic carpet to cover the entire trunk. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Erik
