AC out at the house

Anyone out there know about AC units. We have 2 outside and only one is kicking on. Good news is downstairs is farly normal, unfortunately upstairs, where all the bedrooms are is a sauna. My wife and I have no problems sleeping downstairs until someone can get out to take a look, but we are about to have to drag the kids down too.

I checked the lines coming from the unit, and none are frozen (had that problem in the old house). Nothing seems to be out of place in the attic either (not that I would be the one to be able to spot it, but no leaks of any kind).

If anyone can toss some out some other suggestions to check, I would appreciate it.

Make sure you did'nt trip a breaker and check the compressor to make sure it's coming on.

all the breakers are good.

One of the two compressors outside kicks on, but the other one isn;t even thinking about moving.

Sounds like one took a tank if you ask me. Might want to call up an expert on it. I need to update my electric at my house. Keep tripping breakers! AHHHHHHH

That;s what I am afraid of. Home Warranty FTW! Still makes tonight miserable, but someone should be out tom. I was hoping somone might have mention somehting I am just overlooking.

Thanks anyway, figured it was worth a shot. I just hope the other compressor doesn't crap out from being overworked tonight.
