I have a 99 c/k chevy 2500 and it has a 6.5" mid and a 1" tweeter in doors both are running 4ohms from headunit or so I think and the tweeter has a capacator on it as a crossover. My question is concerning how GM splits these signals is there as I am going to be putting a set of Cadence ZX651 coaxial speakers in which I would like to run off stock wiring from head unit (will be amping these speakers down the line). So is the wiring to stock mid full frequency from the head unit? And if so what how do they splice the tweeter in wouldnt this disrupt the ohm load? And if its not a full frequency signal to the mids where can I patch in pre-crossover(or whatever they are using)? thanks a bunch
