??? About LOCs (Cleansweep/LC6)

Hey guys let me first start off by saying I have been out of car audio for awhile so I am a little out of the loop on most newer products and technology.

Ok here is my situation. I am going to be adding a few subs in my 08 Silverado. I will be keeping the stock deck and don't plan on messing with any of the factory equipment, just adding the subs/amp. I have been reading alot about the Cleansweep and Audiocontrol LC6. I don't really need any extra crossovers or anything like that because my amp already has that onboard. Which would be my best bet if I am looking for something just to clean up the signal to my sub amp? One of these products or something totally different? If anybody has any suggestions or experience with this equipment please let me know, I would really appreciate it. Thanks

LOC's are definitely nothing new, probably been around for 20 years or more just not so prevalent. You can use a simple LOC rather than the pricey stuff you mentioned. I think the only thing that has changed since you have been out of the loop is the endless array of processor based equipment, most of which is gross overkill for the average person.

Thanks for the link. Looks like I could go with something like the NE-7V and be good. Yeah I am definitely familiar with LOCs, just not the newer versions with all of the processing. Screw it I guess it will save me money by using just a standard LOC anyway.
