I asked a guy from Jordan today about marriage ceremony in Muslim culture....trying to compare it to the mostly christian based ceremony I am familiar with. He got terribly terribly offended and quit speaking to me. Is asking a question about marriage cermonies taboo?

If not, then that certainly means he got confused in translation and thought I was asking him about his *** life, which another person in my class thought he meant. He didn't understand the word marriage...

I should not have generalized my response so much. I am not saying that this is fact for everyone that has children at a young age, but for the most part, including the op, the persons involved would be way too immature to handle a child and still come up with time/money for school and other things to better their life.

Do you guys have a certain age by which you are supposed to start blowing shit up? I lnow the mormons are supposed to go on a bike riding venture when they are 19 or so, but I don't know how it works for you Muslims.

i already got my GED and im ACC in upstate ny for sept and i plan on going yo USM after i get my 2 year..

i work 3 jobs and make about 900 a week in summer and 500 durring school

granted i waste all of my money now on cars, if i had a kid, obviously that would change

oh. as you know their are different kinds of muslims. Shia, sunni, Ismile, wabhabi, etc.

I am Shia. As a community we have nothing to hide, we welcome anyone to enter our Mausk to observe.

I know for sure Ismiles are very secretive on their marriage ceremonies.They dont allow "outsiders" into their Mausk. They wont even allow photographers/videographers inside to capture the ceremony(even if they are Ismile). I dont get why they are trying to hide their faith.
